iFilm English TV to drop final curtain for ‘Bewilderment’

iFilm English TV Channel has set to air the final episode of the series ‘Bewilderment’ on Thursday.

The final episode of the series, produced by Reza Joudi and directed by Omid Bonakdar and Keyvan Ali-Mohammadi, will be aired on March 10, 2022.

‘Bewilderment’ tells the story of the turbulent journey of families torn apart by lies, betrayal and enmity.

Atefeh, a doctor, is trying to bounce-back from a divorce. Poulad, a man who was raised in Paris, returns to Iran and suddenly finds himself in search of his real family.

Their fate leads them to unimaginable truths after they knock down numerous obstacles, and against all odds, forgiveness, hope and love prevail and conquer all.

Notable among the cast are Shahin Taslimi, Setareh Eskandari, Babak Hamidiyan, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Gelareh Abbasi, Ateneh Faqih-Nasiri, the late Parviz Pour-Hosseini, Farrokh Nemati, Maryam Boubani, Elham Korda, Houman Seyyedi, Azadeh Samadi, Roya Mirelmi, Hamid-Reza Pegah, and Esmaeel Mehrabi.

‘Bewilderment’, produced in 2010, will be replaced by the series ‘Light and Shadow’ directed by Arash Moayyerian.
